Ive had this mole most of my life and it just started getting darker and being painful. It is also now raised like a blister may be. Not sure if I scratched it accidentally? Just noticed yesterday as its on my side under my arm. Blood blister from an accidental scratch or possible melanoma?
My doctor told me to leave the steristrips on until I get my stitches removed in a week. Its been two days and my strips are bloody and gross looking on my face. They did give me extra strips but I was just wondering what my options were.
I had a small brown mole on my leg since birth, last October it changed to a what looked likely a dark blood blister with a red ring round it (picture 1), after about 4 weeks it turned skin coloured (picture 2) but slightly raised and has been like that until a week ago. It has now started to turn into a blood blister again (picture 3)
Mole removal scar is healing nicely for 6 weeks post-op, but a blood blister developed on the spot that's been experiencing a sharp poking pain from a suture that still hasn't dissolved. At a follow up appointment today I was told it's fine and to not pop it, but while washing my face this evening it popped and quite a bit of blood and some white stuff (whitehead? pus?) came out. What should I do to help this heal? That spot is quite tender.
