4 days ago I went to see a doctor to freeze my mole with nitrogen liquid and she told me about side effect etc. But she didn't mention any pus, and now pus is coming out and dries around my mole.
I had a mole excised 3-4 days ago I've been keeping band-aids/Vaseline on it multiple times a day and changing the band-aids. How long do I have to keep putting Vaseline/ Band-Aids on it? Does it look infected at all? Just want to make sure i'm doing things right. I have a wedding in 3 1/2 weeks and wanted to put cover up on the excision site.
They used silver nitrate to keep it getting infected. Currently it has some pain and is red around the site. I'm not able to tell if it is infected or not because of the silver. It tends to hurt when I walk for to long too so I don't know if the pain is jut from the location or if I need to worry about and infection.
I am now on day 4 after my mole removal. It's now Tuesday night and I just got back from the urgent care center (which is horrible here). They told me it's not infected. I have pictures of everyday after the removal and they look worse each day. I've been keeping it bandaged throuout the day mostly. But would clean it properly and let it air dry after showering and cleaning it. The UCC Dr told me to keep the bandage off now so it'll dry. Is it infected?
Hi! I had a flesh colored mole removed from the crease of my nose that I've had since I was about 6 yrs old(I'm 26 now). The surgeon used a scalpel and performed a deep excision. I had 3 stitches sewed in. I'm now on day 4 of recovery and I noticed their is a little bump where the mole used to be. It's a bit hard and still a little sore.
About 4 days ago I had a mole on the bottom of my foot removed. I was instructed by my doctor to wash my foot about 3 times a day and apply an antibacterial cream and cover it with a band-aid. I have been consistent with that for the most part, changing my band-aids and applying Mupirocin. On day three I woke up with foot pain and had difficulty walking when I could walk fine before. I am worried that I may be infected and that is where the pain is coming from. I have attached photos of day 3.
Four days ago I had a mole removed from my face. I am doing the right thing and covering the wound with vaseline and band aids. The mole used to have black hairs growing out of it, and they are still growing through the wound. Should I pluck these hairs out as the skin heals? Or should I just let the skin heal before plucking? If I do it now will it stop hairs growing through the scar once it's healed? Or could it make the scar worse? The area is still very tender, so plucking seems very painful!
I had three moles removed 4 days ago, I was told the stitches would not dissolve for 10 to 14 days. It is only four days since the procedure, and the knots in the stitches are coming apart and no longer holding the incision together. Is this normal? or do I need to go get it stitched back together? I had a total of 3 moles removed, but this specific one is on the top of my left hand/wrist.
