Hello, I had my first Miradry procedure with great results. I am going back for the 2nd procedure in 1 month. Unfortunately most of my arm pit would not numb. They did use the suggested Tumescent approach. I did not use epi because I am typically very sensitive to it. Could this be the problem? What is the suggestion for the next go around?
I had my Miradry procedure 3 days ago and regarding the sweating, I am pretty satisfied with the results. However, now that the effects of anaesthesia are gone, I am really worried that my left brachial plexus is damaged, and particularly my left median nerve, since I have a persistent numbness (analgesia + paralysis) in my thumb (90% affected), forefinger (80%) and middle finger (50%). As you can imagine, that is extremely incapacitating in daily life. Will I ever recover? And when?
I had the miraDry procedure done about 3 weeks ago and still have numbness in my upper arm near my arm pit. I have some lumps which I know all are related to the healing process. However I have an itchy rash around my arm pit that has spread to my chest area. Is this common?
I got my MiraDry procedure done on Monday (4/16) and I still have significant swelling and numbness under my arms. I can't really put my arms down because of the swelling. Is this still normal? I've iced the area for about 36 hours but now I'm back to work and can only ice in the evenings. Does icing still make sense? What can I do to reduce the swelling?
I received Miradry treatment in June 2017 at level 5. For the first few months, sweating was almost 90% reduced. Now (4 months later) I would say it's only about 50% reduced. The main concern I have is the numbness and tingling that runs down the left inside portion of my arm down to my elbow. I only have this on my left arm. My doctor told me that this would eventually go away. I'm worried that I have permanent nerve damage.
If someone had Miradry performed 3 days ago and still has some numbness in both pits. However, the inside of the left arm from the pit through to the bicep down to the inside of the forearm to the wrist...is still numb and has not gotten any better. What has gone wrong?
I had the miradry treatment two months ago. I have seen about 80-85% reduction in sweating. While I'm pleased with the results, I do plan to go back for the second treatment as I had to pay for 2 treatments at time of purchase.I have slight numbness/sensitivity in the tricep area of just one arm.
The Dermatologist who performed the procedure says this is from the Miradry procedure and has given me steroid injections to try and correct the issue, but the numbness is still there.
I just had my first procedure with MiraDry a few days ago and I understand that my underarms will be swollen and numb for a few weeks. But my issue is that, my upper arms have gotten alot bigger like they are retaining alot of water, bouncy, giggly, and heavy.. I thought it was swollen at first but like I mentioned it just feels like a ton of water is sitting in them.. Im worried, is this something that will go away with time?? Or should I be concerned?
