Im not sure what the cause is, but within the past year or so, my face has started pretty rapidly sagging in my mid face region. Im only 28. Ive been under pretty high stress the past several years. Was vaping on and off for a few years but otherwise very active/ fit and healthy diet. Only other thing I can think of is I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted 2 years ago and now have TMJ/ some jaw deviation. Would a mini face lift help with this?
I am 65 in good shape and not overweight. I am just beginning to notice drooping near the lower part of my face. One doctors office gave me a quote of $23,900 for a vertical deep plane mini facelift, quad blepharoplasty, and chin liposuction. This price includes the surgical suite and anesthesia fee. Is this price considered average for these procedures in Charlotte? $16,700 for procedures, $4,000 for the facility fee, and $3,100 for the anesthesia fee.
Hi, I had liposuction on my lower face and under a portion of my chin back in 2016 and it has caused me to have saggy skin. Unsure if there is a combo of fat and excess skin under my chin, or just excess skin. I dont think he did full lipo on the chin but dont recall. I feel like I need a mini or even a full facelift and a chin implant, I also have notches in the jowl area. Someone told me I have a weak chin, so maybe the chin implant is a definite must. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
I had Kybella which accentuated my glands... Thankfully some fat returned and covered them back up. Filler created a really nice jawline without stretching the skin too strongly over the glands. I don't want to remove the glands. Is there another more lasting procedure than fillers that defines the jaw and lifts the submental fullness without bringing out the glands? eg. small facelift with incision in the temples? As a 6.0 ft woman I also want to avoid a too masculine jaw via implants. Tx
I had a lower facelift with under eye blepheroplasty that has left me with dry eyes & is causing issues with my vision. My eyelids do not close fully anymore. Maybe the skin was pulled down away from my eyes as I now have a different appearance and often appear to have down syndrome type features in photos. I'm over 1 year post op. I've had 4 post op visits & my surgeon says be patient I'm still healing. Is this normal? Will it get better or can it be fixed?
I just turned 50 years old. I have mild laxity and just starting to show early signs of aging. I had a consult for a neck and face lift. I was told I was a candidate for a mini face lift and that it should last a decade (give or take). I just read 2 reviews saying their mini lift didn't last longer than 1-2 years. Is this because the surgeon they saw was not skilled enough, they should have gone straight to a full face lift, or do they just do not last long? I am confused.
I had a mini face & neck lift 9 months ago, and still have swelling and pain in my neck, my ear and head (left side), and around my jawline. Some numbness and warmth around my jawline and left cheek and tinny pimples. Tightness under the jawline. Bruise on the neck. Doctor had twice injected steroids (last one on 04/03/24) on the left side of my neck. I have not seen significant improvement so far. I have permanent internal stitches. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
My problem is the midface, where my cheeks appear to be more sagged and hollow. I have been told that I need a volume restoration, either via fat grafting or Sculptra. Yet I am afraid volume restoration might not be enough and that is why I am thinking about endoscopic mid facelift too. Do you think fat or Sculptra might be enough ? So facelift might be an overkill. And if those two wouldnt be enough, would facelift after fat grafting or Sculptra be problematic because of the scar tissue.
