Hi docs, I have been to six different surgeons who say that I'm not a good candidate for a mini lift bc my jowling isn't bad enough. As much as I'd love to believe this, I see so many drs on here suggesting lifts for patients with much less aging than me. Why is this? My skin doesn't have much laxity yet, but I have definitely had fat decent and early jowl formation. When I pull slightly towards my ears, the improvement is dramatic. The empathic denials for a FL are confusing
Ive been getting different advice from different aestheticians and Im not sure what the best approach is to minimizing/sculpting my jawline and neckline and reducing my jowls. I have done 3 rounds of morpheus8 with some success and filler to my cheeks. I also got threads about 2 yrs ago. I dont know if fat, skin laxity, or both are my problems. Suggestions Ive gotten lately are: kybella for jowls and neck Sofwave More filler Other things Ive looked at: Cryofacials A minilift Exilis
I am a 35 year old female who wants to undergo a mini facelift to tighten my lower face, remove marionette lines & to overall define my jaw line. Is a mini facelift the best option? Are there any other long lasting permanent solutions to get the desired effect that I am going for? Trying to find an amazing plastic surgeon in LA who would be willing to work with me despite my health limitations to make this dream possible
I really hate the nasolabial folds that I've developed, and I'd love to get rid of them. I tried to syringes of filler, using the method of filler the lower cheek to lift the nasolabial folds, but it didn't do much. I've tried microneedling a few times, didn't do anything. I'm 36, take good care of my skin & really don't want a mid-face lift. So what other options are there to tighten that skin & get rid of the folds? PS No threads
I'm 37 and am getting told more and more that I look tired and unhappy. It's to the point where I'd rather not go out in public. I've tried under eye fillers 4 years ago, but the filler ended up migrating to bags, which are still evident today. I am therefore hesitant to try filler again, but I'm not sure what would help me look less tired. Mini face lift, buccal fat removal? Would any procedure help with the under eye area?
Hi, I've been doing fillers for 6 years now but my neck and jawline is starting to look awful. I plan on a pregnancy soon so I am debating doing a mini lift pre or post? Would it be worth it to wait?
I have sagging jowls caused by jaw reduction. I've seen 2 doctors, 1 doctor recommended mini facelift, cutting excess skin without tightening muscles underneath, the other one recommended SMAS which will tighten muscles. May I know which one is recommended for my case. I'm 36 years old, given my sagging is due to the jaw reduction.
Hi! These pictures are 5 years apart. White shirt is now. I'm 40 years old and 6 months postpartum. I gained 60 lbs during my pregnancy and have managed to lose 50 of it since giving birth. But it's taken a huge toll on my face. My lower face droops, my jawline is mush, and my double chin won't budge. Not crazy about my neck either. Which surgical procedures would get me back to 5 years ago and approximately what would it cost? Was thinking mini facelift? I'm in Southern California. Thanks!
Im nearly 40 and am starting to notice the first signs of aging like jowls and loose skin around my neck. Instead of spending heaps of $$ on fillers abd threads etc i was wondering if i should just get a mini facelift instead?
