I am 67 years old and white female with a black mark over the top of my lips. I have read its important to treat it early but my dermatologist just tells me to wait. He has recommended microneedling but i want to know other options. I read at the N.I.H web site that its important to get it treated promptly. So i just have no idea what i should do
Am surprised some providers DO NOT believe lasers can cause fat atrophy. Yes, they can with some patients; I've sadly experienced it. Deep plane FL scheduled September. My PS does not microneedle, but gave blessing to go ahead in July with another provider. Am 70 years old, acne scars/wrinkling. Understand why PRP is advised to do along with microneedling, as aids healing. Still concerned about fat atrophy. Can microneedling cause fat loss? Not sure length of needles used. Ty.
I'm 65 and have had Botox in various areas for years. Never had filler. I am getting that older lady crepey skin and a friend recommended microneedling with exosomes. I guess they are popular in larger cities like LA, Chicago, NYC, etc. I have rosacea, and my eczema flares up once in a while (it's been dormant for several years now, thank God!). Will microneedling aggravate my rosacea or eczema?
I am 69. Since age 43, I have had Phenol & two CO2s, % fillIers. I consulted with a dermatologist and plastic surgeon regarding recently for hallow troughs & skin. PS uses Morpheus 8 microneedling device and Derm uses Intracel. Morpheus goes deeper. PS will inject tear troughs with PRP Does not recommend fat transfer. Derm is not injecting PRP at this time. I dont want to go under as PS requires. What is best option AND any other alternatives you would recommend?
Hello I am 65 and have been on .75 mg Plavix for the past 9 years after I had a Stent put in. I had a hernia operation 2 years ago and had to stop using the Plavix for a week before the surgery. Is it possible to get Microneedling treatments done? Should I stop using the Plavix a few days before the procedure?
I am 65 years old with acne scars from years ago. I would like to know if microneedling or laser or dermabrasion is best. So far I have been having glycolic peels, which I love but would like something more longlasting. Thank you Gina
I had a co2 laser treatment 18 years ago and it was amazing. However, I am much older now. One doctor said only a face lift would work on my cheeks. One said Venus treatment and now one recommends needling. I want to use my money wisely.
