Hi I'm a 24yr old black african American man that has very old and dull looking skin that makes me look 30 with terrible acne scars. I've been looking intensely into mirconeeding and found a good place to do the procedure but it gonna cost $3000. So my first question is does this price seem reasonable? And should I even pursue mirconeeding to first my skin problem?
Very interested in microneedling on my face neck and chest. Chest is worse problem area as it has a combination of acne and chicken pox scars. As I am a black woman I was wondering which would be the most effective at eliminating my dark marks? Photo for reference
I get hyperpigmentation scars from any type of inflammation, or minor abrasion. They take months or more to fade even with skin brightening treatments. I'm 47 and want to diminish my smile lines and marionette lines on my mouth corners when I smile; but I'm scared of a worse side effect; more PIH scarring.
On darker skin what number should the microneedle be on from the 1st -3rd session ex: .075mm etc. To start and end on? Also what would be the wait time for session 2? Because I no going in to soon or graduating to soon for deeper microneedle will cause breakouts/hyperpigmentation, help!
I just received my first microneedling w/ PRP 3 days ago. My nurse told me I can go back to my regular routine after 4 hours of PRP on my face. I havent because I dont want to risk disrupting the healing process. Could anyone share aftercare tips? When can I go back to heavy sweating exercises? Exfoliating (my skin is now peeling)? Make-up? Should I use sunscreen - chemical or mineral? I just bought these ZO SKIN HEALTH Complexion Renewal Pads - when should I start using those? Thank you!
I'm a medium brown African American woman in my early 40's looking to erase fine lines, lighten acne scarring, and improve texture and tone. I was scheduled to get the eMatrix treatment but was advised against it due to my job (package delivery) exposing me to the sun all day. She suggested microneedling with PRP so I set an appointment, now I'm reading that DermaFrac maybe better, PLEASE HELP, I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S SAFE OR BETTER FOR MY SKIN!!
