Pre-gyno surgery, I did not have any wide indentations on my chest when I flexed on my right side. I also did not have any holes or indentation on my chest when I lifted my arms out to the side or above my head. Now when I flex my chest, my right side caves in all outside of the areola and has an indentation line that runs all the way to the center of the chest. Left side has a hole/indentation that is most noticeable when my arm is lift to side or above head. Surgeon did not seem to notice
I had surgery 17 months ago and whenever I flex my chest or extend my arms, I notice some weird things going on with my chest. When relaxed, hands down, there also appear to be some weird bulges going on at both areolas. Whenever I wear tight shirts, I am able to notice the shadows of the cratering and it is pretty noticeable. Any ideas why this happened and what can be done at this point? Paid a pretty high price for this surgery. Thanks.
I had very minor gyno/mostly fatty tissue that I couldnt keep off unless I was very skinny. I decided to have gynecomastia surgery which included lipo and I am disappointed in the results. Can you all please let me know what you think could help improve my situation? I am bothered by the puckering/tethering? Asymmetry and when I flex I can see my nipples sink down (one completely below my pec and the other seems to crease right over. Thank you all so much for your insight and advice.
Also when I flex and a portion of the the areola is sutured off to the side. People always ask me what happened and why does my chest look weird. I say genetics. Was this a screw up?
I had my surgery almost 2 years ago and now I am dealing with my right nipple totally sucking in about 1/8- 1/4 when its warm and I flex or raise my arms, it is quite noticeable and is driving me crazy! Around 3 months ago I had a procedure done with my surgeon and he pretty much released the scar tissue with this needle tool. once all the swelling went away I was left with a slightly better issue. He seems to think that it is only tethering to the muscle but I think he just removed to much tissue.
Hello! I underwent liposuction touch up on my left chest about 3 weeks ago (previously had liposuction on both breast for gynecomastia a year ago but was uneven as left side still had more fat). My left nipple now looks fine when relaxed but when I flex the left chest it looks weird and has this stapled look to it. The nipple doesn't move freely and feels firm. Is there such thing as scar tissue adhesion? What do I need to do now? This is driving me crazy thinking it would be permanent. Thanks
I'm three weeks postop from my gynecomastia surgery and I'm wondering how I can reduce skin tightness and reduced range of motion when I horizontally abduct and flex my arm? I'm not sure if it's scar tissue build up, but when I go to stretch my pectoral muscles or lift my arm above my head there is a pulling sensation between my sternum and medial areola and it reduces my range of motion to about 80% of my normal range
