Unfortunately have a horrible indentation on glute due to improper needle size when injected with kenalog for lupus flare up. Need fat grafted to that area & Plas. Surg wants to put me under gen. anesthesia. Is that common? He said I wouldnt feel any pain that way but I know there are risks. He asked if I would prefer local anesthesia but how do I know? The surgery itself seems somewhat minor. He only needs about 12 ml of fat. Thanks for your help doctors!
My doctor did low grade kenalog shots in the area to see of I would not a have bad reaction. I got really bruised. I go back in a week in a half for a stronger dose of kenolog shots and then go weekly. Has anyone had this done. So disappointed with my results and Very depressing. I am 5'2 and 111 pounds at time of surgery and he said he relied 5 lbs. Help!!6I
The doctor put a Kenalog shot in it. After about two weeks at the spot was perfect perfectly flat then a couple weeks later it was dented And the skin turned purplish.Fast-forward 2/3 months later now the area is burning I'm not sure if it caused any damage to the underlying tissue? There was also a hernia with mesh underneath. The hernia is fine.Im not sure what kind of dr.to see now. My plastic surgeon doesn't think the burning could be from the shot. So I'm not sure where it's coming from.
I had liposuction on my abdomen and it looked great. I did a second surgery because I was trying to do a fat graft to my rear. I used a great certified plastic surgeon. As you see my second surgery was overdone in some areas. Then the doctor attempted to use Kenalog steroid shot to smooth out the two bumps however it made indentations above the bumps. How hard will it be if at all possible to usefat grafting and maybe a little Lipo on the bumps to look normal again? It has been 7 months.
I received one injection of Kenalog to break up scar tissue post lipo. 3 months later, I see a white spot and a depression in skin. Even if I get a fat transfer, will the pigmentation come back? Will fillers help? Laser? What can I do to get the color back? HELP!
6 months post lipo with scar tissue on abdomen, my doctor injected Kenalog to see if the scar tissue would soften. its been 3 months since shot. I have hypo-pigmentation and its encaved into my skin. No fat in it at all. Looks like I have a bulge of fat next to it but its the effect of having an atrophy dent with no fat on it. Will the collagen ever get better and fat rebuild? Or will I have to get a fat graft? Even if I do get the fat graft, will the pigmentation come back? Will the fat stay localized?
