Several years ago I was told that the bumps on my body are lipomas and to leave them alone. My parents did not want to spend the money to remove them. I am now in my late 20's and have over 40 on my arms, legs, and abdomen. I don't need all of them removed but there are a handful that is causing pain and numbness in my arm. I need to know what type of doctor i should see to get these removed with insurance help and as little cost to me. At this point I am desperate....
Both came out of same incision, yesterday. In major pain throughout muscles but I am feeling pain on the right side of my abdomen, is it possible to get spasms throughout that area due to recovery and sharp stinging like pain throughout the buttocks and far side of hip? And my skin is still very numb, it's been 24 hrs and I thought for sure the feeling would be back, is this normal?
Hello, I have a lipoma on my forehead I would like to get removed, as of now it is relatively small. I was wondering if the removal of this lipoma would (likely) have consequences on the effectiveness of minoxidil and finasteride used for male pattern baldness. I only ask because my surgeon said that sometimes patients will get a numb feeling on the top of their head after such a procedure. I didn't think of this question to ask while I had a chance talking to him.
3 days ago I had a lympoma removed from my left hand side next to my breast. What was thought to be a 5 mins op took over an hour as it was bigger than first thought ( about 7cm by 7cm) plus it was in between muscle. Under a local anesthetic which had to be topped up throughout. I have some bruising today on my breast and have some numbness on the other side of the area since the operation, should I worry?
I had a small lipoma, about an inch wide, removed from the left side of my forehead. After the surgery there was a large swelling, about the size of half a golf ball. I got bruised and looked terrible for a couple of weeks. But what worries me more is that there is severe numbness and stinging on the top of my head and my scalp, above the scar. Even worse, I cannot lift my eyebrow more than a few millimeters. Will I recover from this and how long does it take? And will the stinging go away?
4 months ago, I undergo a surgery to remove a lipoma on my right upper back, near the scapula side.Histopath results show its a Lipoma. Wounds Completely healed. But Right now Im starting to feel numbness and weakness in my right arm, radiating in my shoulder, neck and lower back right side. Is it normal to feel like this? Im worried that maybe its progressing to a malignant type. after all I read about Liposarcoma. thank you
