This is repeat surgery of lipoma that came back a few times. Not only do I have an indent like last time, but it seems to go deeper in one area making it worse than last scar. It's four months post surgery. Would massaging scar area help? Would massaging help some tissue move in that area? Also, scar very red for 4 months out. I used silicone sheets, but not as much as last time, as I felt after taking it off it looked redder. Sometimes I put vaseline on as I read hydration helps.
I had forhead trauma 2 years ago that has resulted in me having a soft/rubbery lump on the left side of my forhead with some indentation above the lump when I apply compression to the lump it goes away but once compression is lifted it gradually starts to come back again the lump is painless i had a CT scan done that has showed no fracture of any other abnormalities. I would like to know what this could be? Is this something I could get surgically removed,? Kind regards Hassan
The lipoma is located where my butt meets my lower back. The doctor said I would have an indentation for forever. After research online I saw that fat grafting could be an option. I'm in the process of losing weight (getting engaged soon) and want to know if the weight loss (it would be atleast 75 lbs) and massaging the area could minimize the indentation?
I had fat grafting done to my left buttock to correct an indent from a lipoma and lipoma removal. My doctor did not give me a garment besides one for my torso for the liposuction done on my hips. I am 3 weeks post op and am noticing some build up at the bottom of my glute and this creates a divot in my buttock. I am nervous this will not smoothen out and am wondering if using a garment will help. Will getting a garment help ensure my glute is shaped nicely and help with contouring? Am I too late for this? What would I need to get if this is something I should invest in?
Obviously it is extremally early in the healing process and the fact that a lump has been removed will mean there is now a void. I assume it will take a few weeks and months for the tissue to redistribute and balance and will in all likelihood resolve but it would be great to have a professional opinion :-)
I had a very large lipoma removed from my outer thigh almost 2.5 years ago and still have a very sizeable indent in my leg. I'm incredibly self conscious about this since it can be seen in jeans and tight dresses. The depression has improved slightly over the 2.5 years but don't know if it will ever fully heal and go back to looking normal. I'm wondering if fat grafting is an option or what other treatments are available.
I had a lipoma removed by a plastic surgeon about 4 years ago. Now, I have a significant dent where it was removed. I am very self conscious about it. I can't keep bangs to cover it because of the way my hair grows. :( what are my options? Cost is an issue.
I had lipoma surgery 3 weeks ago, and it has left a huge caved in area on my upper left arm. The incision is about an inch and a half. The lipoma was 6x5x4. It had some fluid build up and the used a needle to drain last week. It looked a million times worse. It is so caved in and looks horrible. Any help or suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Been in tears over this.
