I've had several revision rhinoplasties to correct a collapsed septum after the initial rhino, mostly closed, but two open.i do have scars on the sides of my nostrils as well as at the septum. I want to have an alarplasty to further narrow and even them. I also want a lip lift to improve tooth show, that's the sole purpose. I'm deeply worried about lip lift scarring, so should I have these procedures separately, or together?
I was wondering if philtrum reduction without making lips bigger is possible? I dont like the way my upper lip would look after lip lift nor does it suit my face, it looks rather botched. Is there any procedure out there to shorten the philtrum without upper lip change?
I have had injected pms silicoin oil in my lips in 2006. And I dont have any complications. But now Im orientating on a bullhorn liplift and I spoke to one cosmetic surgeon about this. And she has already ruled out in advance that I can do a liplift. I didn't even have to come in for a consultation. It was a contraindication she said. And I wonder now, do all doctors think this way? And why is it a contraindication?
Dear RS docs, I am 37, and have a longish face with a longish philtrum (16 mm), although my tooth show on rest is adequate (large incisors, no gummy smile). I can have a lip lift, but my concern is that my whole mouth looks like it is sitting too low on my face, and I don't know what would help that. Am I imagining things or is it in fact low? What would help that - a corner lift? Or maybe an extended lip lift that also lifts the lateral parts of the upper lip? Thank you!
My upper lip is asymmetrical- the left side is longer than the right which causes it to appear slightly droopy. This wasn't very noticeable until I began getting filler. I love the volume from the filler and don't want to lose volume, but I can't stand the assymetry. Could a lip lift or augmentation potentially provide volume without exasperating the asymmetry. Or better yet, could it address the asymmetry altogether? photos are: pre-filler, w/ filler, and lifting the longer side
I have a really big insecurity about my top lip being asymmetrical so when I take pictures on my phone and its inverted, it makes me look really lopsided so if a licensed professional is able to help me figure out a solution that would be great.
I am a mid 20s male with a long philtrum and low tooth show. I am satisfied with the size and shape of my upper lip, which is why I have not gotten a lip lift. Is there a lip lift technique that can increase toothshow and reduce philtrum length while minimizing the change to the upper vermilion?
I have a very narrow and lopsided smile. My face also suffers from being asymmetrical as well. But my smile is very narrow my top lift isnt able to lift high enough to where I can show my top row of teeth. I also have had braces already to correct my teeth but it has done nothing for my smile. I want to know what procedure is best suitable for giving a complete smile makeover so I can be more confident and not look crazy when I do cause I havent been able to and show off my new improved teeth.
