I'm 3 days post a lip lift. I had 3mm removed. Strangely, my upper lip looks the same... somehow. I have heard 2 conflicting things about what happens post-op. 1) the lip will rise more as the swelling goes down 2) the lip will drop a few mm after swelling has subsided. Which is true? I've read both things! I'm hoping it will rise more, as there is no discernible difference in real life. Also, about my incision. Is there a reason my doctor cut into my nostrils? What are the benefits?
Hello, I've done the bullhorn lip lift procedure 3 days ago because my teeth were not showing when my mouth was opened or when I was smilling. Today, I see no better results, I am swollen, yes, but referring to other pictures on this site I'm afraid my Dr did not take off enough. Do you think that there will be an improvement? Or did I do all this for nothing?
Hi doctors. I am 3 days post lip lift. I was wondering if it is just swelling from the procedure that has increased the downward slope and marionette lines around my mouth. I had 7 mm taken out starting at 2 cm. Will this subside at all or was too much taken out?
I had a lip lift 3 days ago. I have been on a steroid dose pack and an antibiotic. My swelling has been minimal. Most of swelling has been around my nose and bridge area. Will the stitch sight flatten and will my nostrils go back to normal? I sort of looks like I've been clipped up with a clothes pin. The swelling under the stich sight makes my lips look totally flat. Any input would be helpful, thank you.
