Hello. I had permalip implants in 2017. During sleep my 5 year old son accidentally hit me in the lips , mostly my lower lip. Ever since than I have had pain in my lower lip on the left side. No bruising or bumps. My plastic surgeon said it looks fine and not displaced. How would I know if the implant is displaced? What could cause this pain? I have had slight pain once in awhile in this area ever since surgery but it has been hurting ever since a week ago. Thank yoi
I feel that my top lip throws off the balance of my face. I'll be able to schedule an in person consultation with a surgeon pretty soon, but I'd like other opinions. First pic is actual lips, second is a facetuned pic that I'd hope implants could mimic, or produce a similar result. I was thinking bigger implant on top, smaller implant on bottom. I can imagine the implants make the lips protrude more than the facetuned pic, but that's beyond my photoshop capabilities lol.
I would like to remove my permalip implant. (Placed in upper lip in 2012) I am concerned about how it will look after. (I have been told I cant have filler for 12 weeks after). Will it look very wrinkled? Will there be any scar tissue that could cause an uneven appearance once they have been removed? Does anyone have a photo after removal of Permalip implants? Thank you
Hi! I had a lip reduction about 5 months ago and i regret it so much. I feel like i got botched and i am experiencing severe depression. My lips are uneven,is there a permanent solution to fix the bottom lip hanging on the left side. (Just curious is it possible to get my old lips size back on both lips)
I've had lip fillers a number of times, and my body rejects them by encapsulating them and making hard balls, which eventually get absorbed and disappear within a few weeks. I have pretty bad smoker's lines, and I wonder what my other options are. Would lip implants work for this? I have breast implants (2000 - saline), and my body didn't reject those, so I'm hoping the same might be true for those? Help!!
Hi, I had a lip reduction surgery a year ago, and I regret it every time I look in the mirror. The doctor who did it recommended fillers to get back the original shape as much as possible. But I would like a more permanent result versus repeating fillers every few months.. I am very sad about this. There are very small lumps in one area of the incision line, and I dont know if fillers or fat graft can work when there are scars in the lips? Someone also mentioned a fascia graft /implant.
Since the natural state of my lips looks very thin, I have had fillers (juvederm) for about 3 years, but normally it should last for at least six months, but it decreases immediately in 4 months and I have to renew it more often than it should. My question is, is there a different method where lip filling is more permanent?
