I have a 6th nerve palsy as a result of a TBI My ophthalmologist did squint surgery on me so i now have single primary vision but double vision on right lateral gaze which makes crossing roads very dangerous,(no discredit to the surgeon) I was wondering if it was possible to make my left eye stop in same position as my right eye when looking to the right, thus providing single vision on right lateral gaze.
I'm 45 years old. I started wearing soft contacts at age 12 always with chronic dry eyes, had first lasik surgery at 27 and again at age 30. Everything is now fuzzy but really blurry after dusk. My eyes are still extremely dry and sometimes itchy and I'm always squinting and have to drive with the map light on in my vehicle after dark to help me focus a little. Can I comfortably wear soft contacts again or can the surgery be re-enhanced again with a third surgery?
I am long sighted with astigmatism and would like to have lens replacement surgery (prescription is too high for laser). But I have a fully accomodative squint in my left eye. Would lens replacement correct the squint like my glasses and contact lenses do? Would it also help the vision in that eye?
I had lasik surgery 26 days ago. But in my left eye the vision is blurry and sometimes i have a double vision (it's annoying). Sometime i feel it dryest and tired than the right eye. My dr. said that the process is going well. But this the important thing. After the surgery he found out i have squint in my left eye so he ordered me take some medical exams. So if he would have realized before the lasik surgery the result would have been better?. I hope you can help me please.
i recently met with an accident and suffered multiple injuries including Traumatic brain injury, diffuse axonal injury. . i had tosis of the left eye earlier but now the eye is completely open with a slight squint. However he is able to focus straight moving both my eye ball to normal position but i cant move my eyeball up or down?is this curable??? thanks joseph
