I had iDesign Lasik performed back in December, and things were fine initially - however in the past 1-2 months my eyes became extremely sensitive to light, I get ghosting of any light source/bright surface and starbursts even in the day, and I am no longer able to see at night, let alone drive. I have residual astigmatism in one eye and was given trial contacts for it which did not alleviate the ghosting. I was told later I had big pupils. Can this possibly be rectified?
Hello, I had my initial Lasik surgery 5 yrs ago. I recently had a Lasik Enhancement done in June, 2014. My surgeon didn't explain to me that he would be cutting my cornea until I was on the table! I have been dealing with blurred vision, headaches, light sensitivity, developed astigmatism, and also my Left eye is more nearsighted now. I am just miserable. They also tell me that I have cataracts, but since I am only 51 will not correct them yet. It is so hard to function!
Had successful LASIK surgery 2.5kwks ago. 2 days ago I noticed first thing in the morning the light was just too much for my eyes. Also had sensation of something in my left eye. Strangely, symptoms will be around for 2 hours and suddenly go away and I'll be normal again with no complaint. Again suddenly it'll happen and my eyes will water and get sensitive. Dr said to start the steroid drops again and look for improvement. He also stated something about rebound tenderness?
Had Lasik 1 month ago I'm 26 and my healing is going well. I lift really heavy in the gym, of course holding my breath, as I was doing dead lifts. No my left eye fells sensitive, It feels as though I was punched. Irritated and sensitive. Although I dont rub my eyes at all, I have found out that holding your breath when lifting creates the 'valsalva movement' which can cause some serious pressure and lead to complications such as haemorrhages in my retina. My vision still perfect.
I had lasik surgery done 6 months ago both eyes. Three months after surgery I was unable to watch tv, use computer , cell phone , read book or drive. According to Doctors my eyes look normal. If I go in light or read it is very painfull. I am in dark room all the time. My doctor has advised me to use the serum drops . It has been a month using the serum drops but I do not see any significant improvement. I am taking lyrica twice a day . Please help me.
Had custom lasik 4 wks ago and am experiencing terrible dry eye, light sensitivity, and daytime glare. Is dry eye causing this? The light sensitivity occurs with all types of lighting including sunlight. I am not only experiencing daytime glare but also some nightime glare as well, small halos and glare off headlights. Are these caused by abberations or dry eye?
