I had lasik years ago.. I kept telling the doctor I couldn't see clearly.. It was discovered that both eyes were wrong (a few years later.). One was under corrected and the other was over corrected. I will always need glasses. My over corrected eye is blurry even with the prescription the doctor has given me.. Can I get a clear , not blurry prescription?
I recently had lasik eye surgery and it turns out one of my eyes has been overcorrected. My original prescription was -5.00 in both eyes. My right eye is now showing a perfect 20/20 vision. My left eye is showing Im now +3.75. This doesnt seem right, can one eye really be overcorrected this much? Im afraid my doc made a mistake. He said he can fix it but Im nervous about letting him do surgery again. Please advise...
Been 3 months since I had monovision Lasik done and my distance eye was fair sighted now its nearsighted and worse than what it was before. After my 3 month review they said its normal that they over correct on purpose because after it heals it will be fine.
I had my Lasik surgery 8 days ago. My prescription was Left Eye -8 and Right Eye -7.25. At my 1 week check up my right eye is plano, but my left eye is +1.00. Is this likely to regress as time goes on? As I'm having trouble at work (I'm a graphic designer) with one eye blurry.
Before the surgery I was -3.5 in both eyes. It's been 2 months and I'm still .75/.50. Now my close up and intermediate vision is terrible. Should I risk getting another surgery or just wear contacts and reading glasses? This has been the worst decision of my life.
I had my Lasik 8 days ago. My pre-lasik prescriptions were Left: -7 Right -7 The target for Lasik was Left 0 Right -1.25 However, 8 days after the surgery, I am now at Left: +1.5 Right 0 So I am over corrected 22% on both eyes. 1) Is this statistically normal ? or a mistake has been made ? 2) secondly, I was asked to continue to use Diclofenac Sodium 01% eye drops every 3 hours, in the hope it may help reduce the over correction, is this the right type of medicine ? will it help at all ?
Hello, I've recently had ReLEx SMILE surgery on both my eyes. My prescription: Right eye: -1.75 with 0.25 astigmatism on 160 axis. Left eye: -1.00 with 0.50 astigmatism on 159 axis. PD is 64. It's been about 5 weeks since I did it, and after the first week from the surgery they said my vision was 20/20. And that it's just my dry eyes, I feel I have astigmatism left, is the SMILE surgery capable of removing minor astigmatism like mine? Or it can't? am I overcorrected with astigmatism?
