Months ago I did laser hair removal on my cheeks and chin. The hair removal was impressive, but now new hairs reappearing. And not just peach fuzz, but dark coarse hairs. the person who gave me the laser hair session said that some people don't respond perfectly to laser treatment and the hair removal will never be permanent. what about you?

For women who have had brazilian or bikini laser hair removal - I'm wondering if you experienced fat or volume loss anywhere on your vagina.  After receiving brazilian laser hair removal treatments, I've experienced volume or fat loss in my labia majora (outer lips of the vulva).  Before the treatments, they were fuller and fattier, but now my outer vulva/labia looks deflated, wrinkly, d...

I have a question for Lori Haney R.N. With regard to the very helpful and comprehensive information you provide on laser hair removal, I'm a little confused about what, in your view, is the most effective laser treatment: on the one hand you agree with your colleague's comment that "the Lumenis Lightsheer is the gold standard for hair removal" while in response to another question...

Has anyone had either just 1 or 2 Laser Hair Removal (LHR) sessions just to reduce the amount of hairs?  If so, how long did it take for all the hairs to grow back - 1 year or more ?

RealSelf user NEVER4GET shared in a recent comment that she had laser hair removal on her upper lip and chin, and she 'immediately noticed volume loss and wrinkles' on her upper lip.  Related: Does Laser Hair Removal Above Upper Lip Cause Premature Wrinkling.Did you do laser hair removal on your upper lip and now have premature wrinkles that look like smoker...

I have facial hair and it is very upsetting to me. I have done electrolysis, shaving, waxing, bleaching, creams, medications, and laser hair removal. I did the laser treatments about five years ago and had absolutely no success. Actually the condition has gotten worse. I am aware of a hormone imbalance that I have due to thyroid problems and female problems. I've seen at least a dozen...

Image courtesy of FreeDigitalPhotos.net by Ambro One of the most frustrating things both women and men have to deal with when it comes to our daily maintenance routine is shaving. You shave the day before only to wake up the next morning with stubble already! Shaving feels like a never ending task, so what about Laser Hair Removal? I have put together the top 5 things you should...

When I was younger I saw my brother shave his chest: I had dark thin hairs there so I shaved mine too. Now, I'm 21 & disgusted with myself because I have to continually shave it. I'll shave in the morning & it's back by the evening. Would laser hair removal be ideal or should I just see about getting it waxed? I'm unsure what to do & I feel very alone! I can never find anyone with the same...

I am really interested in getting it done but my friend says its not worth it. Any opinions would be extremely grateful. Thank you

Hello all,I'm a man in my mid-30's. I'm American, of Scotch-Irish descent. I am naturally extremely pale and I have very thick dark hair... everywhere. So I am researching laser hair removal for my ever-increasing back hair. While it's nice to have a sweater in winter, it's simply time for this to go. :)The question however remains - where to stop? I have hair on my back, my bum, my legs......

Was tempted by laser cosmetica offer of 25% off 1st laser hair treatment. but a friend told me your best to get a package becs laser hair removal requires so many visits. So many clinics and spas offer laser hair removal in NYC. some clinics look scary and from getting my nails done i know there is a big difference in quality from oneplace to another. Any personal recommendations are really...

Hi all,I am a seasoned laser veteran. Having done my underarms, Brazilian, chest, neck and face.Today I went for my normal face and neck treatment and the salon had gotten the new version of the same laser I normally use, the Lumi. For some reason I reacted really badly to the treatment. No change in settings, but it burned my face and neck badly. I never burn, I hardly even get red. Most of...

I had laser hair removal performed yesterday on my face. This is a procedure that I have had in the past with no problems. The laser was set too high and I am severly burned...will I scar? What should I do now? I have been physically ill for 24 hours. It is getting worse.

I'm interested in permanent hair removal and I am interested in going to a place that uses the Emvera Diolux.  Any thoughts on this system?  I'm Caucasian with dark brown hair in the areas I want it removed.  I'd be interested to hear if anyone has used this laser or knows anything about it!

Hello,I have a major concern. I'm very hairy & decided to get laser hair removal. I had my first treatment on my whole body & face with no issues.. However, I felt that the technician was not very thorough in covering all areas.. So I marked my body with black eyeliner (divided my body into vertical & horizontal line, making tiny squares) to ask the technician to go on all areas & not miss any...
