I've has these red dots/spots on my legs and arms idk why i have them really, my parents don't have such skin concerns so i doubt its genetic, i've seen people who got rid of their strawberry legs through laser hair removal which made a drastic change visibly. I want to get it aswell but i just dont know for sure if it will work on or not, will it make my hair grow back either way? Being south asian i have hair on my whole body and im really insecure about it.
The picture with hair on my chin was a couple hours before my first laser hair removal treatment (3 November 2021). After 3-4 weeks I saw some changes on my skin. In the treatment area I developed some acne and red spots. On 15 December 2021 I had my second laser hair removal treatment. My skin didnt changed but only gets worse. the other picture is from today. I never had this type of acne on my chin before, does the laser activate it or are my hairfollicles infected? how can I get rid of it?
I had laser removal on the armpit area two weeks ago and a couple of days after, I noticed some tiny spots on the area. I asumed it was burnt as I have sensitive skin, after more days, I started noticing an intense itching on my right arm and I saw a bunch of spots. I do have sun allergies and last year I was exposed to an intense summer sun in Greece and a couple of spots like this appeared on my cleavage, but now, the only thing that may have hurt that area, is the laser. Is it possible?
Hi I got laser hair removal and after the treatment my face was full of red spots then the spots turn brown its been Over a month since my appointment and my face is still full a brown spots? Got dark spots 3 days after laser hair removal on face (photo #1) now these spots have been fading into red marks. I am now 16 days after the original procedure (see photo #2). Yesterday, I started using some Retin A on the red spots and have a ton of resulting dryness. Looking for thoughts and help on what I should do?!
Some areas have these pretty big red/brown spots and it's been only 20 hours since the treatment. All other areas (legs, underarms, non-tan areas which were treated 20 hours ago ) do not have any redness. Is there anything I can do now to prevent hyper-pigmentation and any permanent damage besides sunscreen if I'm outside? Should I be applying aloe, lemon, anything else? FYI, i had laser hair removal and this is the first reaction like this in years.
I recently had my second brazilian laser hair removal treatment and I immediately received these multiple red spots. I didn't have any during my first treatment and they are making me anxious. Is this reaction normal? How long should they last? And how's the best way to treat the area. I'm very scared of scarring.
I got my 3rd ipl hair removal almost 3 weeks ago;and developed a red bumpy itchy rash all over my legs that were treated. Now the itchiness has calmed down, but I am left with very rough skin, and full of ugly red spots. Ive been religiously applying aloe vera gel to my legs, but it doesnt seem to help much. im afraid that the red dots will stay there permanently. is there anything i can do to improve this? Is this a normal reaction after ipl hair removal?
I recently had hair removal laser on my knee and thighs and it left red patches. Doesnt look like burns but extremely itchy. What is it? It has been 7 days. And the red has grown darker and rough to touch. I took antihistamin pills for the itch and applied a hydrocortisone type cream on it.
Yesterday I had my second hair removal treatment on my lower legs and now they are covered with small red spots (around follicles) - it's has been more than 24 hours after treatment - no improvement.. First treatment did not have any reaction at all.. I had no sun exposure, etc. What should I do and when it will disappear? Naturally I have very white skin and had a dark hair. Thank you!!!
