I sparingly use the steroid cream Clobetasol Propionate for an itchy rash that occasionally pops up on my ankle (it was never diagnosed as anything). I use the cream probably once every 2 weeks, sometimes more or less. Will this cause side effects with laser hair removal on my ankle? I am obviously telling the technician, but even if she says yes, it will give me piece of mind hearing the opinions of PS. Thank you for your help!!
In April I have started laser hair removal on legs and bikini. In late June I have been put on Trimethoprim and after 2 weeks on it got a rash on my back body. Ive been diagnosed with PLE. Since then I was avoiding sun at all and it has faded but not totally. What can I do with the rash and can I continue on laser hair removal? Steroid thickened hair on my tights so I'd like to finish it as well because I have Pcos and excessive hair. I'd like to use laser for acne too.
Since, Ive had a red/pink irritation thats crazy itchy. irritation comes and goes. thought it was fungal infection at first. kinda looks like type of rash that people get between their fat folds. Ive tried keeping area very dry, no deodorant. have tried hydrocortisone, antifungal, and Benadryl cream. not all at once. nothing works to resolve just little relief. Some hyperpigmentation but not worried about that, itching is beyond miserable.
I had my lower legs lasered and the following day I ended up with very itchy red bumps all over my legs. It is now four days later and I still have the bumps. Is this normal? What can I do to treat this? This was my second treatment and this did not happen after the first treatment.
I had laser hair removal on my lower legs two days ago. I still have irritation that looks like a rash and my skin feels sensitive, almost like a mix between a sunburn and a light bruise. My next treatment isn't until March, but I was advised not to use a self-tanning cream for two weeks after my procedure. I understand why I can't self-tan before the session due to laser targeting the pigment, but why can't I use a self tanning cream afterwards? Do I really have to wait two weeks?
I want to get laser hair removal on basically my entire body except my arms. They patchtested me on the Alexandrite laser and i got a rash that lasted 2 weeks and left a mark. They said it's because of the solution the laser uses and they patchtested me with a soprano next. This is the second day and i'm got huge hives that are swallen, itchy and hurt. I used aloe and I hope they'll go away in a couple of days. They used the Alexandrite on my face and it's itchy, but i don't have noticeable hives.
Hi, I had one laser treatment about 3 months ago on my legs, bikini and armpits with no issues. After 24 hours red bumpy itchy rashes appeared around my neck and scalp but not on the treated areas. After that incident those rashes appeared more and more often and now it is almost every day. Sometimes along with the rashes I have angioedema as well. I take antihistamines and they disappear. When I stop they immediately appear again. Is there any chance this condition is caused by the laser?
