Hi, I had my third session of laser hair removal a few months back and have had an awful reaction which the clinic dont seem to know what it is. Originally it was pigmented reg patches, then I started to peel/ crust, now its turned to painful cracks in red showing all up my legs (up to my knees). The clinic (well-known) dont seem to have a clue and I really would love some help.

I have had 4 treatments of laser hair removal and each session is more and more painful. I was told African American skin and hair texture is more coarse and requires a certain laser using a higher frequency (?). My last session was excruciating and had to take a break in the middle of the session because it hurt so bad! Is this normal??? Will asking for the laser to be turned down make a difference? I am almost afraid to go back because it hurts so bad.
The day of my Brazilian laser hair removal I left the office with dark marks all over the area that was treated. Its now been 10 days since treatment and they are still there! These are marks & not raised bumps. They have not faded at all. I also have extreme irritation and pain in my anus area which was also treated. So embarrassing lol but so painful! What could be causing that? Any treatment advice? My esthetician told me this was normal and would go away. I know this isn't a normal reaction.
I had my first brazilian laser hair removal session last Tuesday, after a day or two, it starts to have those red bumps and itchiness on the bikini area. It hurts a bit when I pressed it, and there were some white spots as well. It is really annoying and I'm afraid it's burned or infected. Also the area is a bit dark as well. So far I've only put lotion on it. Shall I use any medical cream or gel to help it smooth down quickly? Shall I wait until the bump disappear to shave?
I've just received my first laser hair removal session Friday. The next day he said I could shave. So I did. All was well in the morning but as the day went on my legs started to burn and itch so bad. I applied cold water to it because that was the only thing that could take away the pain and itching. I did not scratch them because I fear I'll scar. Today is Sunday and now they look like the pictures I've just posted.
