I had a trim method done five months ago and am still sore to the touch along the incision line, sex is also painful. Is this because of my individual anatomy and physiology? I would love to have a wedge revision because I am unhappy with my first results but worry this will add to my pain. Are some women left with hyper nerve sensitivity and some not, and if so, is revision surgery contraindicated for someone like me?
I've been bothered by the appearance of my right inner labia since puberty. I'm wondering how well a labiaplasty would work with making the left and right sides match better. Is it achieveable to get the right side into a similar shape to the left without operating on both sides? Also would it cost less to have only 1 side worked on or would it cost the same regardless? - thanks in advance!
Hello, I consider having labiaplasty and hood reduction. Theoretically, these surgeries don't involve the clitoris and the dorsal nerve of the clitoris, and theortically no damage to the clitoris, means no nerve damage, no constant pain and no lost of sensation. So why is there still a risk? (1) does practically the surgeon might touch or cut them accidently? (2) Is it not just the dorsal nerve of the clitoris that control it, but other nerves cutting, can cause to these problems? thank yo
During childbirth 4 years ago I had a tear in my labia minora which left it completely detached. I inquired during a follow up postpartum doctor's visit about having it repaired, where my doctor attempted to restitch it with no numbing. When that repair failed, they simply offered to cut it off. Discouraged, it's taken me years to look into options once again to see if it may be able to be repaired. I am having difficulty finding any reviews or cases with a tear similar to mine.
Hi all, I recently went to consult with Dr. Cat Begovic for a labiaplasty and she said it would take 4.5hrs. My labia are about 4cm long on both sides, which is I guess pretty long, but I didn't expect it o take so long. I know she has her own technique that she developed for a less painful recovery with special sutures, but I expected it would take 1-1.5hrs the same as everyone else I've heard talk on different forums. Does this sound accurate to you? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
I have lichen sclerosus on the clitoris and its well controlled. I discussed having labiaplasty with my dermatologist and she was concerned that the way the procedure is done can make it spread. Therefore I wanted to get a plastic surgeons opinion on whether the surgery would worsen lichen sclerosus or not
Hello what would be suggested for labiaplasty based on my picture. i should note that im extremely sensitive on or near the clitoris and i do not want that area touched as i feel that more sensitivity would be annoying and uncomfortable. also, what is this tissue at the beginning of my vagina? im wondering if its remnants from the repair to my 3rd degree tear? when i bear down it pushes outwards.
