I am 29 years old, 5'3, and 117 lbs. Last year I developed a prominent double chin even though I was thin, so I got submental lipo. I am 10 months post op and I am mostly happy with my results, but I still have the appearance of a double chin when I look down. A representative at my surgeons office said that I still have some submental fat left and she suggested I get kybella. Would kybella be a good choice considering I've already had surgery? Or would it be risky?
When I had my first Belkyra treatment my smile became somewhat uneven .Today my smile is fully back to normal. My doctor has informed me that we need to wait for the layer of fat around the nerve to regenerate before we consider performing another treatment, and that this will take around 1 year. Would you agree that I have to wait a year, or do you believe I can have a treatment before then?
I just had my second treatment and will most likely want to go in for a 3rd. However, since its a bit pricey I might want to wait longer than the recommended 6-8 weeks for my next treatment. Will this affect my results? I was thinking of probably around 4 months or so if it wont make any difference on the progress.
Im going to get Kybella in the jawline in 3 weeks, but I also want Botox in the jaw masseter. I dont feel comfortable doing both at the same time in case it triggers some unknown chemical process. What is the appropriate order? Do I do Botox today, then in 3 weeks get my Kybella, or do I do Kybella 1st & once the fat is dissolved, shrink my masseter muscle?
4 weeks after the 1st treatment my doctor gave me another treatment - even though I made it clear I wasnt even at baseline yet, was still swollen. 11 wks now after my 2nd treatment, my fat is mushy, soft and worse - I never felt any nodules break up. Was this from injections too close together? My Dr. is dodging definitve answers for me. Does Kybella always work itself out - some just takes alot longer, or is other action needed at this time? Help!
Will waiting longer than 6 weeks negate the results of the first treatment? I would like to save money in between treatments, but I'm worried that the metabolic process of breaking down fat cells will have to start all over. I am a 29 year old slim female with little submental fat. I don't mind if my results take a while to see. I just want to make sure I'm not wasting money by spacing my treatments so far apart (thinking two to three months).
