I am 28 days post Kybella first injection. I am still a bit swollen and it has turned into a hard knot. It is also very painful to touch. I've been putting Arnica gel on it and trying to gently massage but it is very tender even as far up as the front of my chin. I'm due for my second injection in two weeks and now I'm afraid to have another one with these symptoms. Is this normal?
I've read many answers that the more inflamatory response the better your end results, but I have also read others suggesting solutions to aid swelling (arnica, compression garments, etc). Do you feel that the results will be greater if you just accept the swelling or is it ok to take measures to get it down? I would hate to do something to heal faster that actually diminishes the final results I could possibly achieve. My consultation suggested 3 vials for my first treatment (32yr old, slim).
I've done krybella and i was wondering if i can take arnica tablettets and gel to bring down the swelling/inflamation or if that would make krybella less effective since arnica brings down inflamation? Also wondering about bromelin/pineapple? thanks in advance!
