I had two viles injected into my chin 3 weeks ago. I am not over weight and my chin wasnt bad I just wanted it to be extra sharp. I go back next week but Im a little nervous that I paid 2k for nothing and dont want to have to pay it again.
Im reading many of the kybella experiences and many have mentioned feeling anywhere from tiny balls to golfball-sized lumps at the injection site. Although I did feel slight soreness, I can't feel any such balls under my chin. It's also been 3 weeks since my first treatment (2 vials) and I haven't seen any improvement. I'm wondering if the lack of balls is an indication that it's not working for me?
I had Kybella three weeks ago and I'm finally seeing some of the swelling going down - that said, my right mandibular lymph node is incredibly swollen, seemingly out of no where. After visiting my primary care physician, she ruled out the big hitters - strep and such. My question is, could my lymph be swollen because it's metabolizing/draining the fat cells from the procedure?
The swelling has down as days pass however i dont really see a difference from my original profile. I feel like it is bigger than before. I have a lump now that is hard. Is that normal? will that go away? I still feel a bit difficult to swallow due to this lump. I am suppose to get checked at 6 weeks because I got bruised and burned using icepack.
I went back to the doctor today since the pouch from the Kybella hasn't changed at all. He told me he had only seen this in 3-4 other patients and that I should massage it three times a day. If it doesn't start subsiding in 20 days he will give me a steroid shot. Have you experienced this as well with your patients? Any additional advise here? Do you also inject a steroid if it doesn't dissolve? I am thin, 43 years and had just a small pouch to begin with. Thanks so much!
I have one large, hard, slightly tender lump or nodule under my chin the size of a small apricot or prune. I received one vile of Kabella 3 weeks ago. Will this shrink/go away and how long will it take? I'm hesitant to get the second vile although I already paid for it.
It's been 3 weeks since my first kybella injection,I do not see any improvement yet, my question is about the Graf the docters are seen using in the videos ,the Docter I got the injections from did not use it, and did all the injections with out the Graf with all the dots. He did make several injections .I trusted him because he is very well known for other injectibles..I did ask the nurse why he didn't use it.And she said he did not need it.why do u use the Graf , and is it important?
