I have very thin lips naturally (especially the top lip). There is a local Groupon for one syringe for $468. Im considering getting that but Ive had a few friends tell me that I would need two syringes to get good results. My top lip is pretty much non existent. Do you think one syringe would suffice? Id like them full and would like it to be noticeable. Also do you think the juvederm would be a better option rather than a lip lift via Botox?
I have very thin lips, and basically no structure to my upper lip. I just got my first injection on juvaderm ultra, and I know I will need a few injections before my lips get to the desire shape and volume. As far as maintenance goes, How many syringes will I need whenever I get them touched up? I know the fillers last varying amounts of time for different people, but I am curious if I have to start from scratch every time or if they will require less filler to keep them where are?
I got my lips injected 3 times w/ juvederm ultra. Naturally I have very thin lips, my top lip was down turned. My issue is the shadow effect or fullness above my top lip. I did not have my vermillion border injected & was advised it may give me a ducky look. I dont understand why some patients get this mustache effect & some can achieve huge lips without affecting the area above the lip. Why does the border of my top lip look puffed out? I went to a highly rated Black Diamond injector .
I have had 1ml of Volbella injected into my very thin lips - the difference is subtle but more akin to a 'lip-gloss' effect. I would like to get a second ml injected soon at a different clinic that offers Ultra Smile - would this be more appropriate and add more volume to thin lips? I have read that Volbella gives very subtle results compared to other strains of Juvederm
I have extremely thin lips and I recently had my first syringe of Juvederm done. I actually liked the size they were when swollen, and 2 weeks later they have went down drastically. While there is a difference, there isn't as much as one as I would have liked. I am considering another syringe? How long should I wait, and what is the realistic upkeep for someone such as myself with such thin lips. Will I require more frequent visits?
I didn't give my lips a break when icing them after I got lip injections. Does this in any way affect my results? I was told that normally on the second day, they will be the most swollen, but I did not experience this. They look less swollen than they were yesterday actually. (I got Juvederm injected into my upper lip. I had a very thin upper lip prior to this.)
