I've had a 24 hour vomiting bug. During the last six hours of the 24 hours, i noticed the Hyaluronic filler on the left side of my chin had become hard and tender. This has now extended to the left side of my chin and through the fillers in my cheek bones. All my fillers are tender to touch. The swelling and soreness is similar to when i first had fillers put in. My chin was done 8 months ago, my cheeks have been filled for 2 years. Will this subside, has it been caused by retching?
I got 1ml of jeuvaderm injections in lips 4 days ago. My lips stil feel very slightly hard but I have no pain or bruising. They are slightly tender if I purse them together does that mean there is still swelling present and they will go down more over next few days or is this the final result? I do feel they are slightly too big and I'm just confused as to how to distinguish between swelling and product.
My family and I are recovering from a flu/stomach bug and I woke up today with pain and swelling in my cheeks, precisely where I had dermal fillers nearly 10 months ago. It looks as though Ive had my cheeks freshly done. No other symptoms other than tenderness and swelling.
It's only been about a day, I got juverderm plus into my lips and love them but one side on my top lip is bigger and I know we are suppose to wait about 5 days for swelling and bruising but I feel like it just has more filler. It is a little more tender on the bigger side and it's a little lumpy. She told me to ice and massage if I feel any lumps but not to over do it. Do I just need to wait it out or did she just not do a good job?
I had juviderm injected into my chin almost 5 months ago, Everything was fine until this morning when I woke up with the sites where the juviderm is swollen and tender. I am sick with a cold which is mostly in my throats and was prescribed a zpack, which I started last night. I have also been taking Motrin to keep my fever down. Could the infection from my throats have moved into the injection site? Or is this some reaction to having a fever?
I had juvederm filler in lip and cheek just over a week ago. The swelling subsided normally and everything appeared normal. I have flu symptoms and I'm sure I have caught something as I was exposed over the holidays to a couple people who were sick. Now for the last 20 hours my cheeks and lips have become swollen and are tender. Is this a normal response to contracting a cold or flu? Should I see a doctor immediately or should I wait until the flu subsides to see if the swelling also subsides?
I had voluma injected under my eyes 3 months ago. About a month after the initial injection, I woke up with my left under eye very swollen and tender. It took about 24-48 hours to go away then about a week later the same thing happened to my right eye. Then 2 weeks later, I woke up to it happening again to left eye which lasted about a day or 2. This morning, I woke up with both under eyes extremely puffy and really tender. It was way worse this morning than it has been. Please help!
I got juvederm imbecylem ybree weeks ago in my cheeks, i still have a mild deep tenderness in my left cheek, I saw my doctor two weeks after injection and he said it could've been a hematoma... But I never had bruising, what is happenning? Should I get it dissolved? How would I know if I was getting a low grade deep infection?
It's been 1 week post juvaderm ultra-plus. I swelled up behind marionette lines so i went to see the doctor the next day - he felt inside my gum which is where he originally palpated to set the gel. He felt no movement and did not seem concerned. I am concerned as there is remaining tenderness and swelling aproximately 1/2-1 cm posterior to the injection site. It is periodically itchy too. It looks like i have little cotton balls in this area. Is this normal?
