I recently read a medical journal that stated that hyaluronic acid can help accelerate myeloma cells. However, I am unsure if this means if it is ingested or used for fillers. Can a doctor please explain in layman's terms what this meant? Could my fillers have accelerated my cancer? Can I get it again in the future?
I have long QT syndrome so I am advised to stay away from lidocaine. There are no issues with hyaluronic acid though. I have extreme pain tolerance, as I am a cancer survivor and have had many skin tissue biopsies/lip biopsies without any lidocaine or numbing agent. Finding a doctor willing may be a challenge though, has anyone had a patient like this?
So right after I set up my appointment for lip injections & nasolabial injections w/ the juvederm filler (and paid $100 scheduling fee), I come upon this website with advice from a Dr. which totally opposes the use of HA and HA fillers like juvederm and claims HA causes cancer? Any truth to this..Suddenly I am freaked out about my appointment Tuesday. Please, doctors, tell me if this is true?
