I recently received Juvederm injections around my mouth, chin and cheekbones. A week after the the injections I developed an uncomfortable burning sensation to the injected areas similar to a sunburn. I am not experiencing any redness, rash or swelling. Ive tried different moisturizers and creams but nothing seems to help. Has anyone else experienced this? Its almost 6 weeks of discomfort. Could it be an allergy to juvederm?
2 weeks ago I went to another clinic For lip filler. She was so shocked at how the chin filler was injected so she massaged it for me. A few days ago I woke up with an incredibly swollen chin on one side. I went back to the first Injector who prescribed antibiotics (fluxocilin then doxycycline) The swelling has gone down but it feels rock hard. Now I see a little wide nodule which has formed inside my mouth. Whats happening?
I had lip fillers just over 6 weeks ago, however it resulted in an occlusion and the filler was immediately dissolved. The area above my lip is still pink and healing. I really want to get my lips done again, however this experience has put me off a bit as it has taken a long time to heal. Is it likely this could happen again if I chose to go ahead with more fillers? Or is it just bad luck? Am I a rare case because it has taken so long to heal? Greatly appreciate the answers!
I had Juvederm injected in my cheeks 6 weeks ago. I was bruised badly. Had a hematoma. 4 weeks ago I had it dissolved with Vitrase. I still have the bulge under my eye, deep pronounced crease and discoloration in the crease right exactly where the bruise was. My doctor doesn't know what it is and suggests IPL treatment. I'm horrified. I got so many wrinkles under my eyes that I never had and this horrible looking eye. Please help!
I had one syringe total injected for juvederm for marionette, nasobial and upper and lower lip lines. Had this done one year ago without any complications. Now i have jaw pain, swelling of all injected areas that comes and goes along with sinus and jaw pain. What's going on? Should I panic or ride it out. Thanks
6 weeks ago I had Juvaderm injected into my tear troughs by a board certified plastic surgeon. At a follow up appointment with him 2 weeks ago, he assured me that this was still bruising and to wait it out. At the 6 week mark I am getting very frustrated and now believe that this is actually the product that is leaving this blue shadow under both of my eyes. At this point, should I insist that he dissolve some of the product or should I give it more time?
