I am getting under eye + cheek filler soon. However I'd like to also get another IPL or two this fall/winter. Will the heat from the IPL melt the filler? Especially under my eyes where the skin is really thin and the filler doesnt go as deep? Filler choices: Voluma for cheeks and Restalyne for under eyes.
I am wondering if getting a IPL treatment in my eye area will enlarge these veins or make them more obvious? I know IPL doesn't treat these veins but I wouldn't want them to become more obvious with the treatment. My skin is quite thin and sensitive.
I am 31 and was burned with second degree blisters by a physician going too aggressive on an IPL laser. My skin is orange peelish with large pores, hyperpigmented In large spots, thinner looking, and premature wrinkles. All the things I was trying to prevent, it seemed to age me 10 years. Is there any creams, treatments, procedures (scary thought to do it again)you would recommend to correct?Ive heard of a girl having to do tattoo makeup to cover her IPL hyperpigmentation. What are my options?
Consulted with derms and surgeons that say issue is above orbital bone, can't inject fillers. I had filler put as close as possible to the bone, improved contours, but didn't improve undereye skin. I get disport that helps crows feet, but not undereye skin. I use retinoid eye cream. Recommended Sciton Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser. It's new with little/no reviews other than from co. Does anyone have experience with this or other HFL laser? Other recommendations? IPL, laser, fat graft, implant?
I've been struggling with hyperpigmentation, and I am thinking about going for IPL treatment for this. But I was told by my aesthetician/facialist that I have a 'thin' skin and that I should not do any laser treatment on my face. And by doing laser, it will make my skin even thinner and that I should stick with a less aggressive treatment. Is this true?
I have been using desonide cream on my face for a few years. I do not use the cream everyday but only a couple of times per week. It appears that the use of this cream has thinned my skin resulting in a few broken capillaries. I am considering an IPL treatment to help with that issue and with some brown acne scars. However, I am worried that I can have a negative reaction to the IPL due my long term use of desonide. Is it safe to get an IPL treatment after long term desonide use?
