I had a laser treatment for broken capillaries on the face. The technician burn the side of my nose before she turned down the setting. Will this be a permanent scar now that I am a few months out? I was told to just use Vaseline. I have a hard time believing I wont be stuck with this scar permanently. Is there a better treatment?
I had IPL on my face, chest and forearms. The nurse said she didn't change the settings on the laser but my arms burned badly. It's been a year. Is there anything I can use to help the appearance of my arms?
2 years ago I went into my local beauty salon for an IPL pigmentation treatment on my chest for freckles and fine lines and they burned me quite badly. I've been in for a few treatments since to help fix the damage and even up the stripes on my chest, but then 3 months ago in June they burned me again and I'm back to square one! I'm devastated and I have no idea what to do. I can't show my chest, it looks horrendous and ppl always ask what happened. Confidence is shot. What do I do here?
I had IPL done and I got some burns. Those burns scabbed off and I'm left with scars (see pics). I have had a few consults and I'm getting a range of ideas, from peels to q-switch yag treatments. I'm horrified from this experience and think these procedures will just make it worse. What a safe and appropriate way forward here? A month ago, I received IPL treatment on my back for acne scars. Instead, I came out with even worse scarring than I could ever imagine. I suffered from 1st and 2nd degree burns. For the first 2 weeks, I treated my burns with Vaseline and Neosporin, 2-3 times a day. After the scabs came off, I switched to Mederma and Bio Oil 2-3 times a day, but haven't really noticed any improvement. All summer, I've worn shirts that cover my back. What procedure can remove these scars?
I had 3 treatments of IPL to remove sun freckles and I still have them and was left with these two scars which makes me even more self conscious now. He did offer to treat them with a different laser but Im afraid to go back.
My forehead was burned during IPL tratment 3 weeks ago. The hypopigmentation is not getting better. How long does it take to recover? Does it recover at all? Does it stay forever? I am so deprssed. I cry everyday. It is all over my forehead!

I had IPL treatment today. The skin still feels tender 12 hours after the treament, but redness has faded. I am worried because the left temple area (in picture) has a new rectangular brown shape around the area that was treated with IPL.
