I forgot to throw out last weeks Invisalign tray(s) I put this weeks tray(s)in the same spot. How do I know if I'm wearing the right tray? I'm not sure which tray is my current tray. I tried each top tray and bottom tray to see which one felt tighter. But, I'm unsure if what I need to be looking for is tightness or something else to make sure I'm wearing the right tray(s).
I wore them that night & removed them in the morning since my dentist said my last tray is my retainer. However once I put them on before bed the next night they felt super tight like if I had put on a new tray. Is it possible my teeth moved in the span of 15 hours? Im afraid to take them off during the day as Im supposed to as Im scared my teeth will shift during the day. Is it possible for my teeth to drastically shift back during the day?
I'm on tray 1 of my Invisalign treatment that's suppose to change every 10 days. I accidentally left my retainers at a restaurant and I am on day 8.5. I put in my second set of retainers because I didn't think 2 days or so would make a difference. The top fits perfect but the bottom is a little tight. It's Sat night and my dentist isn't open until Mon morning so ordering a new tray would take a few days and I'm afraid for my teeth to move. Should I continue wearing my second set of trays?
I'm almost at 2 weeks wearing my first set of aligners and over the past couple days it feels like my trays are getting tighter. The bottom trays is really difficult to remove now. At the back it pops right out the it's very tight on my front teeth. I wear my trays about 21 hrs/day on average. Should I keep wearing this set until the bottom tray loosens up at the front?
I'm on my first tray of Invisalign. My top aligners have been loose since the end of the first week. After 10 days, my bottom aligners are very loose on the side (the bottom even bend easily when I try to put them too fast, and then I have to bend them back to original form), but the front teeth still feel very tight when I put them on. Can I still switch to tray two in 4 days without risking messing with my whole treatment?
I am on day 7 of my first tray of Invisalign. I have buttons and I wear elastics (rubber bands) for overbite. Yesterday I noticed a change in my bite where the right side of my top row aligns and closes properly but he left side does not close fully at all. Today I am feeling more tension on the right elastic than the left elastic. It feels as if I'm not even wearing an elastic on the left side. Is this normal? Could the rubber bands be changing my bite unevenly?
I just got my first set of invisalign aligners. I've been repeatedly told that I may feel some tightness and soreness for the first three days but that the pain should reside as time goes by. Weirdly, I haven't felt any tightness or soreness (and it's not because my teeth adjusted to them, I've litterally just got them). And because of this, I'm worried that the aligners are not doing what they're suppose to. It is okay that my first set of aligners don't feel tight or sore at all?
I fell which resulted in a horrible cut lip. I could not put my invisalign on without my lip starting to bleed even though it was not deep enough for stictches. Its finally healed and I'm ready to start again but when I went to put the tray i was on back in the bottom was super tight it was painful. I had move to a older version of my tray because it hurt so bad. I want to think its because my teeth moved back while my lip healed. is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to take it from here?
I live in Idaho & my orthodontist lives in Maine. I switch out my trays every week. When I first got my invisalign I did really well with wearing them but now that I'm on tray 11 of 22 for my top I wear my trays about 14hours a day. Tray 10 was kind of tight but loosened, tray 11 was very tight when I put it on last night & my teeth hurt this morning. I took them out today & when I put them back in they were tighter than last night. Idk if I messed up my treatment or if this normal.
