My upper teeth are the issue. My two upper canines are very high up in my gums, one more than the other, and protrudes a bit so I get sores on my lip from it often. My uoper teeth amsp arent aligned straight with my face. Kind of like tom cruise before he got his aligned. I dony care about thr overbite issue much but i care most about the upper canines being so severely misplaced.
I had all my canine teeth removed at a young age and they all grew back lower on the bottom higher in the top. Can Invisalign fix this or would traditional braces be my only option... Im 22 years old and never liked the thought of braces
Im 27 years old with my baby canine tooth still fully in tact. The adult canine grew in directly behind it. It doesnt cause pain but my smile SUCKS because of it. Ive read drs can pull the baby tooth & place Invisalign with a (fake tooth appearance) in the Invisalign to cover the gap while pulling the adult canine forward. Is this an option for me?
I have a canine tooth that sits above the rest of my teeth. I've been interested in getting braces for years but recently have been considering Invisalign. However, I am unsure of Invisalign's effectiveness in this situation compared to just getting braces.
I have worn braces from 12 till 14. But my tooth have moved and now im at a point where i don't like it anymore. The things that I don't like: - from the side I have lots of space between teeth - my gumline is is not even. I don't mean it vertically, but my gumline is more INwards (see picture from below) - i feel like my canines are too big and pointy and show space between my teeth. - overall, i dont like Should i chose for invisalign or normal braces, or something else? thanks in advance
I have had Invisalign for 5 years and unfortunately my canine teeth have not rotated to the desired position. I'm looking into other options outside of invisalign (metal braces) but extremely concerned with the cost, especially in Northern NJ. Is there such a thing as partial metal braces that focus primarly on my canine and my bottom teeth? Anything outside of invisalign but cost effective. At a loss on what to do.....
I have 2 impacted canine teeth, i ended up getting braces removed for whatever reason, i DO NOT want to have to get braces back on. When i did have my braces on the only thing that happened is they set my canines back farther from the rest in order to do the surgery. I hate the way that my teeth look, it almost looks like i have 2 missing canines bc of how far back they sit & they are also baby teeth so alot smaller & also darker. What would be another option for me besides braces.
