I just got my Invisalign aligners and after getting all the needed attachments for the front of my teeth I noticed that there were bumps on the back of my aligners. Does that mean that there should be attachments there too? My orthodontist didn't mention anything about it so I was wondering what the bumps were there for if I never ended up getting attachments there? I want to get the best result from wearing the Invisalign but if I don't have all the possible attachments how will I achieve that?
i am on my 43/57 tray, and i wear each tray one week each. the tray im wearing at the moment is unbelievably painful, the edges are really sharp no matter how much i try to file it down and at this point just wearing them will make my mouth bleed where they cut at it, and my tongue is covered in bumps and is numb :( i have 3 days until i would have switched this tray out, is it safe to start wearing 44 early and then just continue from my normal schedule ?
I just had attachments added to my teeth. I was expecting bumps, but not how awful the resin smeared all over my teeth feels. I complained about my teeth feeling rough on the front, the bottom, and even the back of one tooth, and he tried to polish it off, but the rough feeling remains. I'm concerned this may be bad for my teeth. I also worry that the heavy-duty polishing/grinding required to remove this stuff will harm the enamel. Will my teeth ever feel smooth again?
I lost my invisalign and I was on my last pair. I've actually been on this pair for a month and they took out the bumps a week ago. They're ordering another set but it won't come in until December. What should I do?
