Hi! Im 18 years old, and I have been wearing glasses since I was 11. I hate it, so Im planning to get corrective surgery. My left eye is -2.75 and my right eye is -4.25. My doctor said that I can get lasik when Im 23. I am sorta willing to wait five years for lasik, but today, I came across Collamer Lenses which is something doctor puts in your eyes and your vision improves. If my eye doctor approves, I may get them soon. Should I get collamer lenses by next year or lasik 5 years later?
i'm 23..i consulted 2 doctors for LASIK. One doctorsaid that i have the cornea thickness as 490 and proposed PRK treatment, and the amount is less. other doctor said my eyes are only suitable for ICL, i have cornea thickness as 470 & the amount is high.i don't know why this cornea thickness is different with different doctors.what should i do now. Should i proceed with PRK or ICL.will there be any further issues with my eyes? can i proceed with any of these 2 treatments? Please help me to decide.
I am 21-years old. I has a eye-sight of -8.50 and i wanted to do lasik but due to thin cornea i.e., 507m and i had Myopic Astigmatism in both the eyes..they had suggested ICL but the cost was too expensive are their any other alternatives apart from this..???
Hi I'm 20 years old I've been wearing glasses since 9... I hate it! I've gone to a few doctors and I've been told lasik does to fix high myopia so my surgery has to be icl implants... my ant had it done a long time ago so I kinda figured that was my only choice as well my myopia is to high and I have some astigmatism... but I'm concerned with the price.. I would pay anything to take my glasses off but it seems out of my reach
