I had no complications, no rashes, no breakouts post Halo, just a little milia, MENDS & peeling. I've had increased redness my 4th week out, I had not experienced that the previous 3wks, only the Halo glow. Intermittently this redness occurs now. Just curious if this is common. Across checks and bridge of nose.
Halo done on monday. It is now friday. My skin is so dry and tight. Looks like peeling. But it's so dry it's like crystalized. Feels like sandpaper. They prescribed cicalfate a zinc based product.. it doesn't seem to moisturize as it feels more baked on to the dryness.. and advise against aquaphor. Should keep advise or use the aquaphor? Other suggestions?
It has been 1 month since my halo treatment/fractional laser and I have noticed the development of pin-point needle holes on my cheeks were the laser has hit. My healing process was typical from my last treatment: 1st day- sunburn like appearance, 2/3rd day-swelling, 4/5- peeling , and 7th day-new skin. Skin looked good for 2 weeks, then i noticed the small holes. I was wondering if the small holes i am noticing are a permanent adverse reaction or if they will go away with time?
I had halo treatment 4 days ago. Only red and flakey around my mouth and chin. The rest of my face is just dry with a few black pinpoints on my forehead and under my eyes. But no peeling or flaking. I'm worried that it didn't take and that ive lost my hard earned money.
I had a mole removed in June on my bra line. It became infected and tested positive with MRSA. It cleared up with antibody . I want to have HALO treatment in December. Am I risking getting MRSA again since my skin will peel? Will I always be a carrier and should be worried about every scratch and cut? Thanks
Is the skin supposed to peel after a face Halo laser treatment as an indication of its efficacy? If the skin does not peel at all, does that mean the laser was too weak to penetrate the dermis? I am worried about paying $2000 for one face session that doesnt work. Thank you.
