Halo done on monday. It is now friday. My skin is so dry and tight. Looks like peeling. But it's so dry it's like crystalized. Feels like sandpaper. They prescribed cicalfate a zinc based product.. it doesn't seem to moisturize as it feels more baked on to the dryness.. and advise against aquaphor. Should keep advise or use the aquaphor? Other suggestions?
Hello! I had a Halo treatment done on Friday (May 4th) and it is now May 6th and the skin around my mouth and nose is so dry it feels like I have Elmers glue all over my face. It is so tight I have difficulty opening my mouth without pain. The skin is starting to wrinkle from all the dryness. Ive been applying non stop moisturizer, doing the vinegar mask, and it is becoming painful. I knew there would be dryness but my skin feels like its ready to splinter. Is this normal. What do I do
I have dry skin naturally but it seems so much worse now. I'm using Medica Skin products along with ZO Medical Night Recovery Cream AND Eucerin Advanced Repair with no luck. I have to apply lotion 3-4 times daily and my make up (Mac and Anastasia) is just caking on and won't blend. My laser tech says I'm healing normally but when I look at others' results I don't see them having the same issues this far out from the procedure date. Any advice is much appreciated!
I had halo treatment 4 days ago. Only red and flakey around my mouth and chin. The rest of my face is just dry with a few black pinpoints on my forehead and under my eyes. But no peeling or flaking. I'm worried that it didn't take and that ive lost my hard earned money.
I just had a mild-grade Halo treatment with 400+ depth. While in the process, my aesthetician told me that she felt few little bumps on my face, which were probably clogged pores. Now it's almost 3 days after treatment, my skin feels like a piece of sandpaper with dark brown spots all over the place. Surprisingly, I can still see those little bumps under dry skin protruding, no white heads seen or further breakout developed. My question is should I apply medicated cream or just leave it alone?
I had HALO laser done around 3 weeks ago and lately my skin has been feeling VERY dry. I've been applying a moisturizer to try to keep my skin from getting so dry but I still have that very dry feeling and look.
