I has a consultation for laser resurfacing for minor fine lines, skin texture, pores, and slight discoloration. The plastic surgeon recommended HALO for my concerns. He said they do 300 microns for everyone across the board as he doesn't think there are improved results, only more downtime, past that depth. Though research I'm aware it goes up to 700 microns. I'd really like to maximize my results and additional downtime is fine if it's beneficial. Thoughts about going deeper than 300 microns?
Since procedure- still some redness. I've notived small bumbs, can only feel them. Like a dry skin texture? Will these fade over time? Also ,some of my discolorations are still here. Will they continue to fade?? Or is this the results I have? I was told your skin continues to transition for up to 4 months? What's your opinion? Does that mean brown spots will continue to fade in the process of healing? - thanks
I had my second halo treatment 3 weeks ago and now my skin looks horrible. More discolored than before, kind of pixly throughout the face. It gets worse every day. What can I do? Doctor gave me Obagi products to use (Clear and 0.5 retinol) but I look even worse because my skin is all flaky. Should I do another Halo treatment to get rid of discoloration? On the picture I have makeup, without it's even worse!
I have deep and light wrinkling throughout my face, large pores and skin discoloration throughout. I've researched all these lasers and the outcome and I'm confused as to which is best. I've read that the Halo laser has the best downtime but my concern is which laser is most effective.
I had a Halo treatment done last week. Im on day 3 of healing and still experiencing a lot of swelling and discoloration. My skin is dry & sand-papery. It is seeming like I might have a longer-than-anticipated recovery time. I forgot that I had booked a microblading touch-up at the end of this week (it will be 7 days after Halo treatment). Should I cancel? Could my skins recovery from the Halo treatment have a negative affect on the microblading or vice-versa?
Hi, I've had the profractional laser and bbl treatments together in one session. Does it make sense to combine bbl with the hew halo laser? Also, how long should I ideally wait between my first and second halo treatment? I'm 40 years old and the doctor says my skin is in great condition, but I do have discoloring on my neck, especially.
Good morning, I got shingles 5 months ago, resulting hypertrophic scars below my nose and next to my lips. I have been treating these scars with microneedle (once a month, did it 4 times already) followed by steroid injections. The discoloration has improved, but not the bumps. I am about to do halo laser, will it work to flatten the bumps? Any other solutions? Should I continue with the injection? my concern is, too much injection is not good. Thank you.

I am wanting to address acne scars, discoloration, fine lines and wrinkles and broken capillaries on my face. One doctor recommended the Fractora and they said I could do one treatment to get the results I wanted or I could do spot treatments for areas where I wanted additional improvements. The other doctor recommended the Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser and they recommended doing three treatments. Please advise which treatment is the best for the items I am wanting to address. Thanks!
So I had my first Sciton Halo treatment (along with a BBL forever young) at 20% (medium level) 6 days ago. I swelled up quite a bit and I still have a bunch of mends and super dry areas. I have my next treatment in a little over 3 weeks (scheduled 4 weeks apart). Will I still see great results with pore size, texture, discoloration, etc with 2 medium treatments or do you pretty much HAVE to do aggressive? Thank you.
