Should I do this for LEAST scar formation after a FUT hair transplant? Had my second FUT hair transplant procedure, first one w a rather large scar to back of head partly due to me working out and stretching it. This time around I want to minimize it. The doctor did a great job this time with Tricophytic closure and the scar is relatively minimal so far post op 1 week. The suture biodegrade in 3 weeks. Im curious should I leave suture it in to get best result with least scar? Or get them taken out at the clinic. Thank you for your insights.
I am one week post-op and I am still completely numb above my suture line around the crown of my head. I can't feel anything. I was told the doctor placed a nerve block. I am starting to get (very) concerned that there might have been a complication. Is it normal to still be totally numb? Please help.
Hi! I had a hair transplant 11 days ago. Today i went to my doctor place to have suture removal. After that, a nurse helped me to wash my head, but she rubbed my head to make all the remain scraps fall out. I asked her it is ok to wash my head like this now. She said yes because the transplanted hair is good after 10 days. So do not worry, but I am not sure if it is ok to rub my head on the 11th day or not. Thank you!
I've read that the volume and density of ear cartilage is different than coastal. Would ear cartilage be a good canididate for replacing cartilage that was resected in the midvault? What type of cartilage is ideal for restoring Radix height and how is a graft anchored to the bony base? Is a transdermal suture enough to prevent mobility? Could fascia be applied as a type of glue to the bottom of the graft?
I had a bike accident 1 year back.. nd had 5 sutures above my upper lip in the mustache area.. after the suture is removed.... hairs are not growing in that area and i wanted to know the possibility of hair transplant and is it safe doing a transplant?
