I'm 24 year old male. I had a hair transplant of 3000 grafts 7 days ago. Tonight I washed my hair and gently rubbed it with my fingers because that's how my doctor advised me. What really scared me is that I could see some scabs in my hand that looked like grafts. They were the same size and they had hair in it. Is it possible that I pulled out some? And also, is it normal that my head is still full of scabs after 7 days? Shouldn't it heal faster? Are these cracks on my head normal?
Tomorrow I get to wash the recipient area for the first time. I have religiously been spraying with the provided saline as described including every 2 hours through out the night. Does everything look as it should and when I wash it tomorrow how sensitive should I be? My previous transplant (2300 grafts) was not as effective due to foliculitus for several months and not knowing what it was at the time so obviously paranoid about getting this one right.
Hello everyone, this may seem like a stupid question but can you push new grafts out of you blow your nose? 8 days post up and I get a pretty bad cold and I'm trying everything I can to not strain. Thank you guys for your time and input
I had a hair transplant about 7 weeks ago and I have been constantly smoking around 1 cigarette a day and I also had taken alcohol twice. I'm worried that my grafts won't grow as much as expected. Is there anyway to get the dead cells back to life again?
I want to know that if I smoke 4 or 5 cigarrets a day after hair transplant. Will it effect my the hair growth of transplanted hair? I am trying to cut down the cigarrets. Its been a week I had my transplant but I cant stop smoking and maximum I am smoking is 5 cigarrets a day. Kindly advise me
