Right now I am almost 2 months post FUE. I have used a little vitamin e oil on my donor area. I was wondering if continuing vitamin e oil on my donor area, and also adding to my recipient area are recommended. Also what about using rogaine at this point? My doctor didnt give me much aftercare last 15 days. Also I still have some slight redness (photos attached). Thank you for any help anyone can offer!
I had an FUE two week ago (1600 grafts). 48 hrs afterwards, I started using pure Vitamin E oil on the Donor area as a moisturizer and to help loosen scabs and used it up till post op Day 9. However, after considering Vit E can easily be absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream (especially broken skin), I have become concerned. Vitamin E oil is a known inhibitor of Veg-F, which is responsible for angiogenesis after transplant. Is it possible that I stunted vascularization of my grafts?
I did an FUE hair transplant surgery in Turkey and I am out of the Panthenol cream they recommended. What alternatives are there? Is it okay to mix Bepanthen with aloe vera and vitamin E? What other, even if over the counter, products can be used?
Hi, I had a FUE of 2729 grafts one month ago, as advised by doc. i visited them after a month, after checkup they said all ok, and they prescribed me the below medicines for 6 months. -Perfectil - 1 daily -Hair Max Plus 5% minoxidil spray. - Twice a day -Vitamin-E oil - twice a week I never see anyone using vitamin e oil after hair transplant especially FUE. Doctors/Surgeons or anyone having the same experience please confirm and share your knowledge/experience.
