I had a 2000 graft FUE procedure four days ago. The night of the surgery I had tenderness and pain in my forehead on both sides that prevented me from sleeping. It took 2 T3s to sleep. The pain resolved the day after surgery as my face started to swell. The third evening, the pain came back (tenderness to touch, tightness, pulling in certain areas, all at about a 4/10, but constant and unrelenting) but only on one side. Advil did little, but 2 T3s again did the trick. 4th day theres still pain.
Hi everyone, I have had a few FUE procedures on my hairline to try and increase density there. The latest was 7 months ago and basically i am still getting pain and discomfort along the hairline in a particular spot. It hurts if i brush my hair there or the wind catches it. I have been back to see my surgeon a couple of months ago and he said to not do anything at all, but to just leave it and hopefully it should settle down within the first 12 months at some point. But i am a little worried..
I got a FUE hair transplant done 8 days back. Day 3 onwards, once the anesthesia started wearing off I've had a lot of pain in donor area and been consistently taking 2 tablets of Ibuprofen everyday to get through the day. The pain is kind of a shooting and stabbing pain which occurs at any of multiple different points in the donor area. 1) Is my healing okay? Uploading photos of 8th day 2) Will it get better on it's own or I need to do something? Massages have had no major effect.
Sharp pain around my donar area although it looks like my donar area has healed i have been using aloe vera gel which gives me temporary relief but is this normal I mean its only been a week since Ive had the FUE surgery
my donor area not healing even after 10 days of FUE , cleaning with betadin and NS(shampooing will start after 16 days of FUE). yellow liquid coming out from few ports , after that liquid become hard and sticking to head mask. grafts are around 2500 most part of skin looks white and light red still wound is tender and painful, after cleaning applying fusidic cream on donor area. Doctor said yellow liquid is not infection. How to heal the donor area faster?
Hello, Im post op 7 days FUE (2000 grafts) now and with very strong pain in the donor area. It feels like a sting/needle like pain and makes me really hard to concentrate/read/sleep. I am taking 600mg ibuprofen but it doesnt help at all. Moreover some parts of my donor area (back left upper side of the head is completely numb). This pain started 4 days Post op and doesnt go away. Is this something normal that occurs after FUE? Why does it happen? When will the pain go away? Any suggestions?
How much pain can a person expect with the FUE hair transplant? Will it be more painful than just plucking hairs out of their head? What does it feel like when they are transplanted? What kind of anesthesia is used (if any at all)? How safe is it?
I hit my head against the edge of a kitchen cabinet. The impact wasn't hard at all but it was excruciatingly painful. Blood came out, I'm worried I will be left with a bald patch when hair starts to grow. Can the grafts survive this after 12 days? If not how many grafts might have been lost? Thank you for the advice! Please check the pictures.
4 days after my FUE procedure I am suffering from extreme pain at the back of my head where I was injected. Instead of the pain subsiding it is getting increasingly worse. It is a burning combined with muscle ache. Is this normal? The donor area is healing well and there is no pain to speak of there.
