I got a hair transplant 9 months ago and Im not happy with the results. On the day of the procedure I barely had any sleep the night before so my blood pressure was high which caused a lot of bleeding during the extraction. Want to know if that could have factored into the transplant not being successful. I can provide more info and photos if need be.
I had FUE, only 1000 grafts, 15 days ago. Today I slipped trying to an elevated push-up and scraped the recipient area a bit. Slight bleeding and some hair fell out. Seems to be no swelling but the skin of the scalp is scraped. Bleeding was slight, just like a small scrape or broken skin. Bleeding stopped quickly and Ive applied neosporin. Bump was not hard, no swelling.
I am post 11 days Hair transplant. there are still scabs on the recipient area. I had contacted my doctor and he advised I can sleep on my back as usual from 10 days post transplant. however when I woke up, I saw some ( I assume) scabs on the pillow. Please see attached. Are these scabs or grafts? There is no bleeding at all.
I'm experiencing some pain in the donor area and I'm in day 7, the pain started yesterday when I gently rub some crusts which formed in my donor area. It didn't bleed or anything, but not I feel a little pain and some numb sensation I would like to ask how long I would expect the pain to last and if there is anything I can do to ease the pain if I don't want to take pain killer
Hi, On day 12 after my FUE transplant i was involved in a minor traffic accident causing me to bump my forehead very hard into the steering-weel. It caused a little bleeding and now on day 20 i notice that some of the follicles that were bleeding is now bald and the ones that still have hair has not grown any longer since the accident what is most likely to have happened? Is the hair lost forever? (The pictures are taken 2 hours after the accident and i sprayed the area with sterile salt water)
I have been told not to touch my recipient area as tomorrow is the first day I am going to apply Panathol. Have I lost a lot of grafts and what about the blood tha is now dry can that cause damage. Please help!
So I am 5 days post FUE, I have been doing my normal routine of shampooing. After I dry my hair I run my hand on my head and a lot of scabs come with it. I very carefully take them off: I haven't had any bleeding. I am paranoid if I am damaging my graft. Is there a certain way to know if I am dislodging my grafts ? For e.g bleeding ?
I woke up to find myself bleeding in the recipient area (front hairline) on Day 5 post FUE. I fear I may have been rubbing or picking the area where the transplantation was done. I feel extremely worried that I have damaged it. Is the bleeding a sure sign that the grafts have been damaged and lost? I have no itching and have been following all post op care. Except in my sleep it seems I may have faltered, and caused a lot of damage.
