Ive had this scar since I was 8 years old and am now 30. Ive hidden it with my hair and its caused me anxiety my whole life. Im finally ready to do something about it. Ive had 3 fraxel laser treatments and it hasnt improved at all. What would you recommend? Im looking into scar revision. What kind of improvement is possible?
I'm doing 4 treatments of fraxel and IPL. The first 2 treatments looked like this would be successful but spots came back even darker. 3rd treatment the same thing, spots darkened flaked off, had clear skin for a week then spots came back darker. I'm going in next week for my fourth treatment. I really don't think this is working but I don't know what to do? Spoke with the doctor who said I have low vitamin D. She perscribed me 50,000 vitamin D, 4weeks later no change to skin. Please help.
I have taken my first fraxel all overy face a month before but unfortunately i did not notice any improvement in my skin and now i m very much confused about my next treatment either i should go further or not???? And should i use minocycline for acne in between my fraxel treatments???
I had 5 sessions done of fraxel to my stretch marks. The stretch marks did go from pink to white but the pigmentation left from fraxel is worst. I rather have my stretch marks back. It's been 5 months and no change and I've been on hydroquinone 2% and 4%. No change. Any suggestions? I am desperate. It looks so bad.
Hi, Ive had two fraxel treatments at 550 5 8passes then one last week at 850 9 8. No change for the better My derm said I'm thin skinned and this is not the best treatment for me. I also had a Sitcon micro laser peel in between which actually scared me more, and caused other issues with black eyes and vision issues (at least I think the vision issues is related due to timing). BTW my derm did not perform the treatments.
I just had my first treatment of fraxel yesterday on my neck and dont see any improvement yet, I think my neck got worst, can the skin could get looser that what it was ? I had a neckfacelift 5 years ago and my face is ok but my neck is kind of saggy thats why I decide to start the laser treatment, what do you recomend?
I am a Caucasian, (Fitzpatrick Skin Type III-IV). I had done 4 Fraxel treatment for melisma/dark spot in an anesthesia institute which charging base onf the number of pass. I dont see noticeable difference. Each session, they do one pass of 1927 laser and the setting is Energy 15 mj, Treatment level 11, Passes 12. which of the following options does make my treatment more effective? Doing two passes in each session? Decrease setting passes# from 12 to 8or 6? 1550 laser instead of 1927?
