1 year after reduction surgery - some questions?

Hi, I'm 18 years old and I am one year out from my surgery. I went from a E cup to a double D cup so I could continue to play sports in college and physically I am happy with the results. My back hurts less, I am able to run, I can even spend less money on sports bras which is lovely. However, I have some concerns about how my breasts are healed (or healing?) cosmetically. My right breast is full, round, natural looking. It is exactly what I wanted out of this operation. The scars healed well and most of it hidden underneath my breast. My left breast is smaller, much less full, it never settled the way my right breast did. It has looked about the same for 4 months, and still looks how my right breast did a about 4-6 months ago. The scarring underneath the left boob is not hidden, the bottom of my left breast probably a quarter to a half inch higher than my right breast. Even the nipple of my left breast has not healed properly yet.. I had my last consultation about 2 months ago and she said it would be my last unless a concern came up. She's been telling me for months to let the unevenness go away over time. But it has been 1 year and besides regaining nipple sensation I have seen and felt no change recently. Is it possible that it will still heal? If not, can it be corrected?I know these are minor cosmetic things but I would really appreciate the help.P.S., How long after surgery until I can get my nipples pierced?
