Please don't be discouraged by the lack of reviews for this RH. I was originally going to stay at one of the Dr recommended house but did after I read reviews about theft, staff that left people at the airports, refusing people food because they didn't come to the table to eat etc etc. (I travelled and did surgery the same day with my BF so in this review I will sometimes write us)I cant tell you how kind and sweet every person at this recovery house was. There was never a time I need something and didn't have someone there to help me. I would ask for a bottle water, the nurse would arrive with two waters and a snack. Then the nurse would be fluffing my pillows adjusting me for optimal comfort. It was like having my mother and family caring for me. Since its a family business they actual care, they don't treat you like another dollar. They really care and I have never met nicer people in my life. I am truly thankful and grateful for all the care and support I received from them. There was times I was in pain and just wanting to go home and Christina would come in and comfort me. I originally found them out of desperation on Facebook but they also have a website Google Sea Lily Recovery Dominican Republic . My cost for 9 days was 675, which included 4 massages and additional massages were $15. They could be done at anytime as the house has a spa downstairs. I ended up in a room by myself with my own bathroom. It had a double electric reclining sofa that they can move towards the in room TV. They have a Wifi, hot water and two lounge areas. Let me tell you about my experience. I came off the plane and they were there with a sign with my name on it, then promptly loaded my luggage into a spacious new van. They recommended we go directly to Cipla and do our blood work so we wouldn't have to wait forever the next day for our surgery. I'm glad we did as other people we met on the plane, weren't taking to CIPLA and were staying at different houses then didn't get surgery till late in the night. They asked us what we wanted for dinner and made sure it was ready when we arrived there after Cipla.Sea Lily recommended we take hot showers the night before or morning as we wouldn't be able to shower after surgery. I cant tell you how happy I was that I did. Its rough not being able to shower after surgery. Here is the important things.1)They made sure we were up on time and got us to CIPLA early. 2)They know CIPLA very well and navigate it all for you. 3) Pina (driver) stayed with us all morning till we actual went into surgery. We hired a nurse through Sea Lily, the nurse was able to update them on our recovery while at Cipla. Pina the driver took our family's phone number and updated them on our recovery after he spoke to the nurse. Which I am so thankful for as I could not get cell service in our room. 4) They arrived at the hospital the next day at 7 to help us get dressed, then went and found all the staff we needed to approve our release. Which was great because CIPLA is dirty and gross. (When we went for our post op, we saw girls crying in pain in the lobby at 10-11 because their RH was over book and hadn't come to pick them up) 5) Every morning they would come in freshen me up, change my bandages, take and wash my Faja. Then ask me what I wanted for breakfast which always included fresh fruit and anything else I requested for breakfast along with fresh fruit smoothies.6) Through out the day they would come and check on me make sure I was comfortable, if I was sleeping they would leave me sleeping but leave me snacks on the night stand.7) The lymphatic massages were great, it was nice not to have to travel to get them. I could get one in my room or the spa downstairs. I would get one in the morning and one at night. It was very helpful in my recovery.8) Sea Lily knows DR very well so when my BF was feeling better they were able to take her shopping and able to get the best prices on items.
