Hi everyone. I have wanted a tummy tuck for over 3 years now following a large weight loss. After lots of disappointments like the NHS refusing to help after promising to once i got to my target weight and then having an appt booked with Harley Medical only to have it cancelled i finally had it done. So far the only half major thing that has gone wrong is a bad reaction to the dressings leaving me with some sores and cuts. The operation seems to have gone well, however im worrying as i am not walking well at all. I had the op on Monday 7th Nov (day 7now) and today decided to take a walk round matalan with my binder on and i was bent over and couldnt walk straight. Finding it hard to straighten my legs which i dont understand i have to really think about it before i can. Takes me like 5 minutes just to get out the bed. Ive been sleeping on the couch since the op. When i try and walk without the binders on i feel like my stomach is going to fall out. The skin on my stomache feels so so tight like i will never stand straight again and its killing my back.I know this is a big op so i wont recover quickly however should i be better by now? When should i be able to walk straight and not feel like the hunch back. I did have my muscles stitched aswel. My fella has been watching me walk and feels i am way behind where i should be by now so im panicing.I have my first post op appointment with the nurse tomorrow so will ask the nurse but wanted some advice off people who have been through it. Im worried alot of it is in my head and i cannot get used to the numbness and tightness.Any advice or experiences would be greatThanks very much
