Considering upper Blepharoplasty again...but scared.
I went 2 years ago for consultations with 3 doctors, 2 of which are oculoplastic surgeons. I chickened out and I'm going back to my favorite again next week for another consultation. My eyes have always been full, not much lid has ever shown and they are almond shaped. The last few years the fat has atrophied some and I have lateral hooding that folds on the outside now, very apparent when I smile...looks like this: / \ I find I'm constantly aware of the aging of my eyelids and I'm bound and determined to get it done so I don't have to think of it anymore. Then I start feeling really nervous again that I think it looks worse than does and all the things that could go wrong.I know I'm not the first that goes back and forth. So, how did you handle the confidence feeling, then wanting to cancel. What finally made you brave enough to take the plunge?
