I recently looked into Vaser Lipo as the idea of local anaesthetic liposuction appealed as I have not reacted well to general in the past. I called a well known Cosmetic Clinic in London and was told my BMI was too high for Vaser Lipo as the surgery was deemed too risky. I should stress I am size 20 and 5'4 tall. I obviously do no want to risk my health having this procedure however I am not going to lie when I say I am a bit disappointed. I have PCOS and since being diagnosed the weight has piled on at such a rate I am covered in stretch marks and I hardly recognise myself! I go to the gym and I do try and eat healthily, which works for a bit then my weight goes up again. I have found this very disheartening as I used to be slim and never had any problems losing weight in the past. I found it a bit of a contradiction having lipo if you are already slim but I appreciate the reasons why. I am feeling very low about my appearance and look and feel hideous. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
