I have olive skin and never had a serious sunburn. I spend most of my free time outside riding and running and swimming and just get more tanned. Went kayaking a week and a half ago and got the worse sunburn of my life. The kayak has a cockpit and only my exposed parts got burned. The inside of both legs and my exposed arms and shoulders had just short of 2nd degree burns. After a week and not completely healed I went out for a short bicycle ride and 1/2 hour into it tiny blisters appeared all over my arms and shoulders. My legs were covered by long compression socks. Went home and scrubbed with natural soap really well and rubbed down with AD ointment. Next day I went for a run, before going outside I applied a 30 spf spray sunblock. Same things happened. Tiny blisters. Can anyone share a similar experience and subsequent treatment?
